Part A: Introduction

1. Use and Interpretation

Welcome to JeetBangla, Bangladesh’s leading platform for cricket betting and other sports. Our General Rules apply to all betting activities, with specific exceptions and additional considerations depending on the chosen market and sport. For instance, the Market Information details JeetBangla’s approach to different markets, including settlement rules, and should be read alongside the General and Specific Sports Rules. If there’s a conflict between General and Specific Sports Rules, the Specific Sports Rules for cricket and other sports take precedence.

2. User Responsibility

To ensure a smooth betting experience, users must thoroughly read the General Rules, Market Information, and Specific Sports Rules before placing any bets. This is crucial to avoid misunderstandings or unintended actions. While Market Information provides valuable insights, it may not cover all applicable rules, so users are encouraged to review all relevant documents.

3. Market Suspension

JeetBangla reserves the right to suspend any market at its discretion for various reasons, including administrative needs or user protection. This ensures a fair and secure betting environment.

4. Suspicious Activity and Consequences

JeetBangla is vigilant in monitoring and addressing suspicious activities such as frequent IP changes, multiple account creations, financial irregularities, system abuse, and match-fixing. Any violation of these rules can lead to severe consequences, including account suspension and forfeiture of winnings.

5. User Dispute Resolution

We encourage users to promptly communicate any issues to JeetBangla. Providing comprehensive details will facilitate a thorough investigation and help ensure the effective resolution of disputes.

Part B – General Rules

1. Managing Markets In-Play

1. a) General – Ensuring the smooth operation of in-play markets is crucial. Non-scheduled market suspensions may occur if markets do not suspend at the designated time:

• Events other than horse racing and greyhound racing: Bets placed after the scheduled ‘off’ time are invalid. Reasonable efforts will be made to determine the actual ‘off’ time for unscheduled events.
• Horse Racing and Greyhound Racing: Bets placed after the official ‘off’ time are invalid.

1. b) All Markets Except Soccer and Australian Markets – Scheduled markets are expected to suspend at the ‘off’ time, but exact timing cannot be guaranteed. Bets placed after the scheduled ‘off’ time are invalid. If a market fails to suspend but is turned in-play later, all bets placed after the original ‘off’ time will stand.
2. c) Soccer Markets (excluding Australian markets)
3. Market Suspension at Kick-Off

JeetBangla aims to activate in-play markets at the scheduled kick-off time and suspend them upon significant events (“Material Events”). The kick-off time will be stated in the Market Information, though exact suspension timing is not guaranteed.

• Market Failure to Suspend at Kick-Off: Bets placed after the scheduled kick-off time are invalid if the market fails to suspend at kick-off and remains inactive throughout the match.
• Market Activation Later During the Match: Bets placed after the scheduled kick-off time and before the first “Material Event” are valid. However, if one or more “Material Events” occur, bets placed between the first “Material Event” and the market activation are invalid.

A “Material Event” includes:

• A goal being scored.
• A penalty being awarded.
• A player being sent off.

1. Market Suspension on Occurrence of a Material Event

If the market fails to suspend in time for a “Material Event,” JeetBangla reserves the right to void any unfairly matched bets until the “Material Event” has occurred. Voiding can occur during the event or retroactively after the game concludes.

1. d) In-Play Australian Markets – For specifically designated Australian markets scheduled to turn in-play:

• Bets placed after the scheduled “off” time and before the market actually turns in-play are invalid.
• If the event lacks a predetermined “off” time, JeetBangla will determine the actual “off” time, and bets placed after the determined “off” time are invalid.
  

2. Results and Market Settlement

1. a) General – Market settlement is based on the official outcome of the event as determined by the governing body. If the official outcome is unavailable, information from independent sources will be used. Any new information affecting the outcome, coming into the public domain within 48 hours of settlement, may prompt JeetBangla to decide whether to reinstate or resettle the market.
2. b) Resettlement – Markets are settled as soon as the event ends, but JeetBangla reserves the right to change the settlement under certain circumstances.
3. c) Non-Runners, Withdrawals, and Disqualifications – A competitor or team that withdraws, is disqualified, or forfeits after starting an event will be considered a loser if at least one other competitor completes the event. Otherwise, all bets on the event will be void.
4. d) Winner with [named selection] Markets – If the team or competitor named in the market title does not participate in the tournament or event, all bets on the market will be void.
   

3. Abandonments, Cancellations, and Postponements

Specific Sports Rules or Market Information may outline different rules for abandonments, cancellations, and postponements. However, in their absence, the following rules apply:

1. a) Matches, Fixtures, Games, Individual Events, Races, etc – If an event is not completed within three days of its scheduled completion date, all bets on related markets are invalid, except for unconditionally determined markets.
2. b) Tournaments, Competitions, etc – If an event is not concluded within three days of its scheduled completion date, all related markets must be settled according to the official decision of the governing body, provided issued within 90 days of the scheduled date. If no ruling is released within 90 days, all bets on related markets are invalid, except for unconditionally determined markets.

Cancelled events partially settled in favor of the customer will have those settled bets reversed, and all remaining bets on the market will be invalid.

JeetBangla will determine whether a market pertains to a match or a tournament, with examples provided for clarity:

Tournament:

• Europa League outright
• Champions’ League Group outright
• Top Premier League goal scorer
• Tennis Tournament outright
• Ashes Series outright winner
• Golf tournament outright

Match:

• 72-hole Golf Match bet
• 5-day Cricket Test Match
• Motor Race (e.g., Grand Prix)
  

4. Change of Venue

In cases where the venue of a sporting event is altered, JeetBangla’s rules ensure fairness and clarity in betting outcomes. Specific rules in the Relevant Sports Rules and/or Market Information may apply, but the following principles apply if the venue change is not addressed:

• Team Sports: If the venue changes after the market is loaded and the new venue becomes the home ground of the original away team, all bets are invalid.
• Non-Team Sports: For all categories other than team sports, bets remain valid if the venue changes after the market is set.
• Surface Changes: If the playing surface changes (e.g., a hockey match moving from grass to Astroturf) after the market is set, all bets stand, maintaining fairness and clarity.
  

5. Periods of Time

Betting on periods of time in sporting events requires clear guidelines. While specific rules exist for certain markets, the following principles apply if not covered in the Specific Sports Rules or Market Information:

1. a) Event Duration Change: If the event duration changes after the market is loaded but before the event starts, all bets are invalid.
2. b) Stoppage or Injury Time: Events in stoppage or injury time after the regular period are attributed to the end of the regular period. For example, a goal in stoppage time in the first half of a soccer match is considered at the end of the first half.
3. c) Inclusion of Stoppage Time: All bets include the entire ‘regular time’ period, including stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are not included.
4. d) Interpretation of ‘Days’: References to ‘days’ mean the end of the local day following the expiry of the specified number of days. For instance, for a rugby match on December 1st, the deadline for completion within three days is 23:59:59 on December 4th.
   

6. Match Bets

Specific Sports Rules or Market Information may define rules for certain markets, such as golf match bets. Always consult these resources for detailed information.

1. a) Single-Event Match Bets: Settled based on the competitor or team with the best score, time, or finishing position. If no participant finishes or records a score/position, all bets are void unless stated otherwise.
2. b) Multi-Stage Competitions: Match bets for progression in competitions with multiple stages are settled based on the competitor/team that reaches the furthest round or best score/position in the final stage. Dead-heat rules apply for competitors failing to progress in the same round but in different heats. Markets are partially settled after each round; subsequent disqualifications or changes do not affect settled bets.
3. c) Disqualification: The disqualified competitor/team is considered last among the remaining competitors, as per the governing body’s decision, not the incident triggering the disqualification.
4. d) Non-Participation: Non-participating competitors or teams make all match bets related to them invalid.
5. e) Abandonment/Shortening: Events abandoned or shortened, where competitors refuse to complete the match/tournament, render all bets invalid except for unconditionally determined markets.
   

7. “To Qualify” Markets

Specific rules may apply to “to qualify” markets. Generally:

**a) Settlement: These markets, such as “to reach the final,” are settled based on whether the competitor or team meets the qualification criteria as outlined in the

8. SP (Starting Price) Conversion and Reconciliation

a) Unmatched Bets and SP Conversion

• If unmatched bets are canceled before the market goes in-play, any associated unmatched selections chosen for “At In-play: Take SP” are automatically converted to SP bets. Once converted, these bets cannot be canceled.

b) Counterparty for SP Bets

• When you place a bet at SP, you are betting against other customers. During SP reconciliation, JeetBangla acts as the counterparty to balance liabilities between SP bets and other Exchange Bets.

c) Placing an SP Bet

• Option 1: Apply for a bet at SP without setting an SP odds limit. Enter the stake for a back bet or specify the liability for a lay bet.
• Option 2: Place a bet at SP with an odds limit. Set a minimum SP odd for a back bet or a maximum SP odd for a lay bet. The bet may be unmatched or partially matched based on the SP odds.

d) Guidelines for Setting Exchange Starting Price (SP)

1. Definition and Characteristics: SP is determined dynamically based on market activity at the event’s “off” time.
2. Fixed Odds and Calculation: SP becomes a fixed-odds bet calculated by balancing SP backers and layers. Unmatched Exchange bets can impact SP calculations.
3. Representation and Accessibility: SP is calculated to six decimal places but may be displayed with two decimal places.
4. Contingency Scenarios: In cases of system unavailability or SP reconciliation issues, a licensed betting operator may act as a risk counterparty.
5. Reconciliation Reversal: The SP reconciliation process may revert bets to their pre-reconciliation status.
6. Unscheduled Reconciliation: During unscheduled reconciliation, only SP bets and unmatched “At In-Play: Take SP” bets are considered.
7. SP “Each Way” Option: SP “Each Way” bets are treated as two separate bets: a win bet and a “to be placed” bet.
8. Unmatched Bets and SP Conversion: Unmatched bets are converted to SP bets if canceled before the market goes in-play and cannot be canceled afterward.
   

Part C – Specific Sports Rules

1. Cricket

i) General

These guidelines apply to all cricket tournaments, series, and matches unless stated otherwise.

• No Ball Bowled: If no ball is bowled, all bets on any market for that event will be nullified except for markets that are conclusively settled.
• Shortened/Interrupted Matches: Bets are settled based on the official result, including adjustments like the Duckworth-Lewis method for limited-overs matches.
• Decided by Bowl-off/Coin Toss: All bets will be void except for those markets settled as soon as the toss is completed.

ii) Test Matches

• Abandoned Matches: Bets may be canceled if the match is abandoned for reasons other than weather.
• Completion Timeframe: Bets are void if the match isn’t completed within five days after the scheduled end date, except for those already settled.

iii) Limited Over Matches

• No Result: If a match is declared a “No Result,” all bets are void except for those that are unconditionally settled.
• Reserve Day Toss: Bets placed after 30 minutes before the original start on the first day are void if a new toss occurs on a reserve day.

iv) Super Over Rule

• Market Activation: Activated at the start of the Super Over. The market settles based on the runs scored in the first Super Over. If scores are tied, the market is a Dead Heat unless multiple Super Overs are played.
  

2. Soccer

i) General Rules

• Material Events: Bets matched after a Material Event and before market suspension will be void.
• Match Start: If a match doesn’t start by 23:59 (local time) and isn’t rescheduled within three days, all bets are void.
• Abandoned/Postponed Matches: Bets are void if the match is abandoned or postponed and not completed by 23:59 (local time) on the scheduled date.

ii) Specific Market Rules

• Relegation: Applies to markets predicting team relegation based on revised positions.
• Individual Match Markets: Various specific rules apply, such as shirt numbers, time of first goal, top goal scorer, etc.
